The Idea
The European Tour wanted their fans to share in their celebration of 60 years of the BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth. To support the celebration Provision discussed a Long Putt on a raised platform that could be within then event village.
The Process
We worked with the European Tour to understand their motivation and what they wanted to achieve from the activation. We worked with their team to ensure we designed the correct branding that would stand out as fans entered the event village.
The Product
Provision created a 60-foot Long Putt challenge at the heart of the spectator village. To make the Long Putt challenge even more special the Provision team designed it as a scaled down version of the 1st hole of the famous West Course, a hole that the tour players would be playing during the event.
